Surprise, AZ | $30.00–$40.00/hour | 2026–2027 School Year

We’re seeking Full-Time Special Education Teachers to support students in the Surprise, AZ area for the 2026–2027 school year, beginning in August 2026.

Openings available:

• High School Resource Room
• K–8 Resource Room
• Middle School Resource Room

The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction, manage IEP responsibilities, and support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.

Pay: $30.00–$40.00/hour (based on experience)

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education required
• Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card required

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement IEPs and provide individualized instruction
• Support students with disabilities in accessing the general education curriculum
• Manage case responsibilities and ensure compliance with special education requirements
• Create lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with student goals
• Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavior support strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, families, and service providers
• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and team collaboration
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
