We are seeking a certified School Psychologist for a full-time position working with elementary and middle school students in the Casa Grande, AZ area. This position will start ASAP and finish out the 2023-2024 school year. Candidates that are a good fit may be asked to return the following school year. Eligible candidates must have their AZ state School Psychologist License and a valid fingerprint clearance card.

Qualifications:

• Must be a certified School Psychologist in the state of Arizona
• Master’s degree in psychology is required
  • Doctorate degree is preferred
  • Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
• Must have AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Redacted report is a plus!

Responsibilities:

• Conducting psychological assessments to identify learning disabilities, cognitive strengths and weaknesses, and emotional/behavioral issues, with the subsequent interpretation of results guiding educational planning
• Provide immediate support to students and contribute to the development of crisis response plans
• Consultation with teachers, parents, and school personnel to address academic and behavioral concerns and offer strategies for classroom management
• Participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assistance in identifying and supporting students with special needs
• Designing and implementing behavior management plans, contributing to professional development through staying informed on current research and best practices, and analyzing data related to student performance and behavior are all integral components of the role
• Engage in parental involvement, collaborating with parents to address concerns and providing support for their child’s academic and social-emotional development.
