School Occupational Therapist OT – Surprise (RF: 3249)
We’re hiring a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time position providing occupational therapy services to students during the 2026–2027 school year.
Location: Surprise, AZ
Pay: $54.00–$65.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, School Hours
Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Start: August 2026
Qualifications
- Current Arizona OT License required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required
What You’ll Do
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to support student participation and independence
- Evaluate students and develop individualized occupational profiles and treatment plans
- Deliver therapy aligned with student needs and IEP goals
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide recommendations for accommodations, assistive technology, and classroom supports
- Train educational staff and families on strategies to support student success
- Complete evaluations, reports, documentation, and service records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Promote student safety, independence, and functional skill development
