School-Based Nurse (RN or LPN) – Allentown (RF: 3284)
We’re hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN) – Nurse Assistant to support student health and wellness and assist the Certified School Nurse during the 2026–2027 school year.
Location: Allentown, PA 18102
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM–3:15 PM
Start: Immediate
Pay: LPN $27.00 – $30.00/hour, RN $34.00 – $38.00/hour (based on experience)
Qualifications
- Valid PA RN or LPN license required
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- BSN or graduate Nursing degree preferred
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Required PA clearances
- Negative TB test
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred, not required
- Strong communication and confidentiality skills
What You’ll Do
- Provide daily nursing care and first aid
- Perform nursing assessments and support student health plans
- Assist with medication administration according to school policy and state requirements
- Respond to health and safety emergencies
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
- Collaborate with the Certified School Nurse, school staff, students, and families
- Support student and staff health and wellness
- Help reduce health-related barriers to learning
