Paraprofessional PCA | $18-$21/hour – Norristown (RF: 3048)
We’re hiring a Full-Time Classroom Assistant to support teachers and students by helping create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
Location: Norristown, PA
Pay: $18.00–$21.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, school hours
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- 6+ months of classroom experience with K–12 students preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Current PA Clearances required
- Dependable, patient, and supportive
- CDA credential (preferred)
- 6+ credits in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
What You’ll Do
- Assist lead teachers with lesson plans and classroom activities
- Support students during class, transitions, and daily routines
- Encourage social skills, learning, and developmental growth
- Maintain a safe, positive classroom environment
- Observe student progress and communicate updates with teachers
