We are seeking full-time Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide one-on-one support for students with special needs in the Media, PA area. As a PCA, you’ll play a critical role in helping students succeed academically, emotionally, and behaviorally throughout the school day.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 2:45 PM
Compensation: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, based on experience

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current and up-to-date background clearances
• Experience working with K–12 students, preferably those with special needs
• Reliable transportation to and from the school
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A sincere passion for helping students thrive

Responsibilities:

• Support a student one-on-one in a school environment, helping with both educational tasks and personal development
• Assist in implementing the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a consistent and positive learning experience
• Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and needs throughout the day
• Follow behavior support plans and help manage student behavior in a supportive, respectful way
• Supervise and assist students during lunch, gym, recess, and on field trips
• Support students in general education settings, modifying classwork as needed
• Help with daily living skills, including mobility and personal care tasks, when required
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions to support your growth and effectiveness
