Paraprofessional PCA | $23.00/hour – Wayne (RF: 3228)
We’re hiring Full-Time Paraprofessionals (about 35 hours/week) to provide 1:1 academic and behavioral support for students with special needs during the 2026-2027 school year.
Location: Wayne, PA
Schedule: Approximately 35 hours/week
Start: Immediate
Pay: $23.00/hour
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Experience working with K–12 students in a classroom setting required
- Current PA Clearances (within 1 year): FBI, Criminal Background, Child Abuse, Act 24 & Act 168
- Current in-person CPR/First Aid certification
- Current TB test & Physical
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills
What You’ll Do
- Provide 1:1 academic and behavioral support
- Implement student IEPs and behavior support plans
- Support students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, recess, and specials
- Assist with daily living and mobility needs when needed
- Document student progress and communicate with teachers and support staff
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development
- Help maintain a safe, positive learning environment
