Paraprofessional PCA | $23.00/hour – Kennett Square (RF: 3228)
We’re hiring Full-Time Paraprofessionals (PCAs) to provide 1:1 academic and behavioral support for students with special needs.
Location: Kennett Square, PA
Pay: $23.00/hour
Schedule: Approximately 35 hours/week
Start: Immediate, will continue into the 2026–2027 school year
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Experience working with K–12 students in a classroom setting required
- Current PA Clearances (within 1 year): FBI, Criminal Background, Child Abuse, Act 24 & Act 168
- Current in-person CPR/First Aid certification
- Current TB Test & Physical
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills
What You’ll Do
- Provide 1:1 academic and behavioral support
- Assist with implementation of student IEPs and classroom routines
- Follow behavior support plans and assist with classroom management
- Document student needs, strengths, progress, and challenges
- Communicate with teachers and school staff regarding student needs
- Support students during meals, gym, recess, field trips, and transitions
- Assist students in inclusive classroom settings with accommodations and modifications
- Support daily living, personal care, and mobility needs when required
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
