We’re hiring full-time Paraprofessionals / Instructional Support Specialists to support students with behavioral and special education needs during the 2026–2027 school year.

Location: Homestead, PA

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

Start: Training begins August 3, 2026 | Students begin August 20, 2026

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00/hour (based on experience)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• 1–2 years of experience in a special education or behavioral health setting preferred
• Current PA Clearances: FBI (PDE & DHS), PA Criminal Background, PA Child Abuse, Act 24, Act 31, Act 168, and NSOR
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Current Physical and TB Test (PPD)
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Additional state criminal and child abuse clearances required if you have lived outside of Pennsylvania within the past 5 years

What You’ll Do

• Provide classroom and behavioral support to students with special needs
• Assist with behavior intervention plans and positive behavior strategies
• Support academic, social, and emotional development
• Work closely with teachers and clinical staff to promote student success
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
• Complete required documentation and participate in ongoing training
