We’re hiring Full-Time Paraprofessionals (1:1 Aides/Teacher Assistants) to support students with special needs by providing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support in a classroom setting.

Location: Downingtown, PA (Additional openings available in Norristown, West Chester, and Landenberg)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Start: Immediate

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00/hour

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Associate’s Degree or two years of college preferred
• Experience working in special education or behavioral support settings preferred
• Experience supporting students with complex behavioral or emotional needs preferred
• Current PA Clearances required:
  • FBI Fingerprints
  • PA Criminal Background Clearance
  • PA Child Abuse Clearance
  • Act 24
  • Act 168
  • Mandated Reporter

What You’ll Do

• Provide classroom and 1:1 student support
• Guide students toward individualized academic, behavioral, and developmental goals
• Assist students with classroom activities and daily routines
• Support student learning, growth, and engagement
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement and monitor student support programs
• Promote students’ social, emotional, physical, and personal development
