School-Based Registered Nurse RN – Philadelphia (RF: 3293)
We’re hiring a School Nurse, Registered Nurse (RN) to provide schoolwide and student-specific nursing services, including medication administration, first aid, emergency response, and ongoing health support.
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19138
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM
Start: Immediate
Pay: $37.00 – $40.00/hour
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Active Pennsylvania RN License
- Pennsylvania School Nurse Certification preferred
- School nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and implement the school health program
- Provide schoolwide and student-specific nursing services
- Administer medications and provide first aid for illness and injury
- Assess and respond to medical emergencies
- Conduct nursing assessments and provide appropriate treatment
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of health services
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as needed
- Provide services in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Health, Pennsylvania Department of Education, and National Association of School Nurses standards
