Emotional Support Teacher (LTS) – Flourtown (RF: 3296)
We’re seeking an Emotional Support Teacher, Long-Term Substitute to provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities during the 2026-2027 school year.
Location: Flourtown, PA
Schedule:Monday- Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM
Start: Immediate
Pay: $34.00 – $38.00/hour
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Education required
- Active PA Special Education certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
- Required PA clearances and health documentation: FBI fingerprints, PA Criminal and Child Abuse clearances, Act 24, sexual misconduct/abuse disclosure forms, physical, and TB test
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement instruction aligned with student IEPs and curriculum
- Provide individualized, small-group, and classroom-based support
- Monitor student progress and maintain special education documentation
- Implement accommodations and behavioral supports
- Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and related service providers
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
