Special Education Teacher (K-2) – Reading (RF: 3288)
We’re hiring a Special Education Teacher to support K- 2nd grade students for the 2026-2027 school year.
Location: Reading, PA 19602
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, School Hours
Start: Immediate
Pay: $39.00-$43.00/hour/hour (based on experience)
Qualifications
- Pennsylvania Special Education Certification required
- Current PA Clearances required:
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- PA Criminal Background Check
- PA Child Abuse Clearance
- Act 24 & Act 168
- Current TB Test & Physical
What You’ll Do
- Provide instruction and classroom management in an emotional support setting
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
- Collaborate with classroom support staff and school team members
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Help students work toward individualized goals and success
