We’re hiring a Science Teacher to provide engaging, standards-aligned instruction and support student success.
Location: Wilmerding, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Start: Immediate
Pay: Starting at $29.00/hour
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in Science or assigned content area
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with students, families, and school staff
- Up-to-date clearances
What You’ll Do
- Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned science lessons
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Prepare students for state assessments
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Collaborate with special education staff, counselors, administrators, and other educators
- Communicate with families regarding student progress
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and school events
- Support schoolwide programs and student activities
