School-Based Registered Nurse RN – Philadelphia (RF: 3275)
We’re hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse to provide school-based nursing services and support student health and wellness throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19137
Schedule: 32.5 hours/week
Start: Immediate
Pay: Starting at $40.00/hour
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN State License required
- PA School Nurse Certification through TIMS for Specialist-School Nurse PK-12 preferred
- Candidates without PA School Nurse Certification may be eligible for an Emergency Permit
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school administrators, staff, families, and community providers
What You’ll Do
- Provide direct nursing services to students using the nursing process and current standards of practice
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive school health and wellness program
- Coordinate care and health services for students throughout the school community
- Monitor and support student health and wellness needs to promote successful participation in school
- Collaborate with school administrators to develop, review, and update health policies and procedures
- Schedule and coordinate onsite school dental and physical examinations
- Maintain accurate health records and required documentation
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and confidential environment for all students
