We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN for a full-time, school-based position working one-on-one with a school student in the Surprise, AZ area. This position is for the 2025-2026 school year and will require the nurse to ride the school bus with the child. Eligible candidates must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Arizona, and must have a valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Arizona
• Must have a valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing support to an assigned student throughout the school day and during bus transportation to and from school.
• Monitor the student’s health status and respond promptly to any medical needs or emergencies.
• Administer medications and perform treatments or procedures in accordance with the student’s care plan.
• Ensure the student’s safety and comfort during school activities and transportation.
• Document all care provided and communicate relevant updates to parents, school staff, and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with the school nurse, special education team, and transportation staff to implement the student’s individualized health and education plans.
• Maintain compliance with nursing standards, confidentiality, and school district policies.
