Remote/Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist SLP – Arizona (RF: 3044)
We are currently seeking a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist SLP for a part-time position (15-20 hours per week) working with students who attend a virtual school in Arizona. The SLP will be providing teletherapy and case management services during the 2024-2025 school year. Eligible candidates must have an AZ SLP PreK-12 Certificate, an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), and a valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Qualifications:
- Must have an AZ SLP PreK-12 Certificate
- Must have an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Must have a Master’s Degree
- Must have valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
Responsibilities:
- Identifying children’s developmental speech and communication difficulties/disorders
- Assessing and treating swallowing and communication difficulties arising from a range of causes devising, implementing and revising relevant treatment programs
- Assessing communication environments
- Monitoring and evaluating clients’ progress
- Writing and maintaining confidential client case notes and reports, as well as information for clients, caregivers and other professionals
- Coordinates speech-language services with student services provided by other school personnel
- Maintains records of the speech-language program and prepares progress reports as required
- Assist in development, reevaluation, and continued support in students’ Individual Education Programs (IEP’s)
