We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time position working in a school in the Philadelphia, PA 19124 area. The RN is needed to work Thursdays and Fridays from approximately 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, providing coverage on the days the current nurse isn’t there. Eligible candidates must be a PA Registered Nurse and must have up-to-date clearances.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania
• Must have up-to-date PA clearances

Responsibilities:

• Conducting student hearing and vision screenings
• Educating students on hygiene and safety practices
• Dispensing prescription medications to students per physician instructions
• Verifying vaccination records
• Taking students’ temperatures when fever is suspected
• Administering first aid and CPR
• Treating minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes and bruises
• Contacting parents when students are ill or injured
