Speech-Language Pathologist SLP, CF – Jamestown (RF: 2572)

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist SLP for a part-time or full-time position working with school students in the Jamestown, OH area. The school is willing to accept new graduates that are entering their Clinical Fellowship (CF) as well as candidates that are already fully licensed. Eligible candidates must have satisfactory results of BCI/FBI background checks. This is a permanent placement position with a competitive salary and full benefits package.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Ohio
- Or must have completed the academic course work and clinical practicum, ready for clinical fellowship
- A Master’s degree in SLP from a program accredited by the ASHA Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA)
- Must have satisfactory results of BCI/FBI background checks
Responsibilities:
- Provide Speech Therapy services to students within the school district
- Experience with IEP’s
- Provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services to a wide variety of students in both classroom and therapy room settings
- Conduct standard and non-standardized assessments, analyze results, and write reports to determine strengths and concerns in the areas of motor speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, literacy, and dysphagia
- Develop treatment plans that are strength-based as well as child and family-centered
- Keeping up to date on paperwork within the school district
- Maintain licensure in the state in which you practice, as well as the state in which you reside.
