We are currently seeking a certified School Psychologist to help with evaluations in the West Chester, PA area. The school is very backlogged and needs a psychologist that’s willing to test students in person. Eligible candidates must have a valid PA School Psychologist License and up-to-date clearances.

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed and school-certified School Psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Must have current, up-to-date clearances.
  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance
  • PA Criminal Background Check
  • PA Child Abuse Clearance
• Must have excellent references.
• Should have experience working in a school setting

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments (intelligence, achievement, functional, behavioral, social, emotional, and curriculum-based assessment).
• Interpret results for special education eligibility and individual educational needs.
• Provide case management and coordination.
• Provide crisis intervention to students when appropriate.
• Provide input for the group and individual counseling and social skills and training as indicated on IEPs.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with staff, students, and families.
• Evidence of leadership skills, positive human relations skills, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to administer standardized tests.
• Ability to lead collaboration and integration strategies.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel between buildings.
• Ability to function as an effective member of the Multi-disciplinary Team.
• Experience working with youth involved with the justice system.
• Experience leading teams in manifestation determinations, functional behavior assessments, and behavior intervention plans.
• Ability to identify individual student needs and develop effective recommendations for the multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel between buildings.
