We are seeking a licensed School Psychologist for a full-time position working with Elementary and Middle School students in the Painesville, OH area. The position will start immediately and continue for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates who are a good fit will likely be asked to return for the 2025-2026 school year. Eligible candidates must have their OH School Psychology license, recent background clearances, and an EIN number.

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed School Psychologist in the state of Ohio
• Must have a Master’s Degree
• Must have recent BCI and FBI Criminal Background Checks
• Must have an EIN number

Responsibilities:

• Provides coaching, consultation, training, and assistance to early interventionists on topics including, but not limited to, standardized assessment, eligibility determinations, high-quality evaluation and reevaluation report writing, and the provision of evidence-based practice
• Works alongside leadership to guide teams on developmentally appropriate practice (DAP), conducting high-quality evaluations and reevaluations, positive behavior support strategies, etc.
• Utilizes the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to structure high-quality assessments of young children and to develop IEPs that yield success for preschool-aged children with disabilities
• Oversee the implementation of standardization procedures during initial evaluations and ongoing reevaluations through observation of initial Multidisciplinary Evaluations and service provider completion of reevaluations
• Employ a coaching and consultative model for teams across a wide array of settings by debriefing staff and providers after observation and providing individual and team feedback
