We’re hiring a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide therapeutic support and occupational therapy services to students during the 2026–2027 school year.

Location: Surprise, AZ

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day

Start: August 6, 2026

Pay: $44.00 – $48.00/hour (based on experience)

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active Arizona Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/L) license required
• National Board Certification (COTA) preferred
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
• Valid Arizona driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required
• Occupational therapy clinical experience required
• Pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred

What You’ll Do

• Provide occupational therapy treatment sessions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Implement therapy activities that support student IEP and 504 goals
• Adapt activities and classroom strategies to promote student participation and independence
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
• Assist with student assessments, progress monitoring, and data collection
• Maintain therapy documentation, service logs, and required records
• Provide training and support to school staff under the guidance of the supervising OT
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed
