We’re currently seeking Mental Health Professionals for full-time positions working with adults with IDDs in the Media, PA area. Both 2nd and 3rd shift are available. Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in behavioral health/psychology/human services or a related field OR a bachelor’s degree in another field PLUS 2 years of behavioral health experience (and 12+ credit hours in behavioral health – this is required if bachelor’s is in other field). Eligible candidates must also have updated PA Clearances, a valid driver’s license, and 3+ years of driving experience. This is a permanent placement position with competitive rate and benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing, and documenting individual programs for all residents.
• Act as an advocate and represent client’s needs and rights with outside social service agencies, families, etc.
• Assist residents in all activities of daily living.
• Design and facilitate therapeutic groups in accordance with psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery principles.
• Plan and implement community integration plans.
• Conduct intakes, assessments, treatment planning, coordination of community care linkages, and discharge process.
• Adhere to standards, procedures, and schedules established by Program Supervisor.
