We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time position working as a Community Director in an assisted living facility. The community is located on a beautiful campus in the Arthur, IL area and is home to seniors in long term and short term care. The community director will primarily be responsible for coordination and supervision of all resident care, hiring and training staff, and overseeing nursing staff. Eligible candidates must have their LPN license.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Illinois
• Previous experience working in nursing facilities are preferred
• CPR preferred, but not required
• Must have COVID Card or exemption

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-call services as needed
• Responsible for coordination and supervision of all resident care
• Hire and train new and existing staff
• Oversee nursing staff
• Coordination of all new admissions, discharges and inquiries
• Maintain daily census and tracking
• Maintain a clean and visually appealing community
• Ensure community is active and energetic with activities scheduled and executed
• Establish and maintain good relations with residents and family members
• Report and document changes in residents conditions and needs
• Provide on-call services as needed
