Hybrid – Director of Intensive Behavioral Health Services – Philadelphia (RF: 3071)

We are currently seeking a Director of Intensive Behavioral Health Services for a full-time, hybrid position in the Philadelphia, PA 19107 area. The IBHS Director is responsible for the oversight, development, and coordination of Clinical Treatment for the IBHS program. The IBHS Director provides direction, supervision, monitoring and disciplinary action for senior clinical staff, the program coordinators, evaluators and assessors, pre/post-doctoral trainees, and contracted staff. This is a full-time position that allows work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Qualifications:
  • A doctoral degree in clinical psychology or license in mental health field
  • Successful progression within behavioral health
  • Minimum of four years clinical experience in behavioral health care
  • Working knowledge of Pennsylvania MCO preferred
  • Previous clinical and administrative supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  1. Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a physician practicing psychiatry, psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, certified registered nurse practitioner with a mental health certification or clinical social worker.
  2. Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a behavior specialist and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
  3. Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a social worker and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
  4. Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of IBHS and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for directing the accurate, complete, and timely provision of quality client care and services in compliance with regulatory, operational, and financial requirements.
  • Identify and address any barriers to successful service delivery across programs.
  • Assures the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of clinical records in compliance with regulatory, operational, and financial requirements.
  • Collaborate with Psychologists, Credentialing and HR Department to meet identified training needs and develop agency training plans.
  • Responsible for monitoring clinical outcome results; developing and implementing plans for improvement. Utilizes outcome data and company outcome data to ensure positive movement in these results.
  • Responsible for monitoring and evaluating clinical measures of performance including, but not limited to productivity standards, documentation completion standards, and management of patient care. Develops and follows through with action plans based upon measurement results.
  • Responsible for the ongoing development of clinical staff knowledge, including up to date research, empirically supported treatment modalities, and all other clinical documentation tools.
  • Provides supervision, direction and leadership to clinical staff and administrative staff, including but not limited to performance feedback, coaching, mentoring and problem resolution.
  • Clinically and administratively review and approve clinical documentation in the electronic health record to include treatment plans, progress notes, and other documents as assigned/needed and document outcomes for the quarterly review
  • Supervise IBHS clinical supervisors
  • Maintain IBHS supervision caseload, as needed.
  • Ensures appropriate staff coverage to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Support QA processes
