We are currently seeking an Early Intervention Teacher for a full-time position working with preschool students in the Oley, PA area. This position will have a daily schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm. The position starts immediately, continues through the Summer program, and will likely continue during the 2023-2023 school year. Eligible candidates must have a Teaching Certification, a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, and and up-to-date clearances.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor degree in special Education and/or Early Childhood Education or a related area
• A PA Certification in Special Education and./or Early Childhood Education
• PA Clearances from within one year
  • PA Child Abuse
  • PA Criminal
  • FBI Fingerprint clearance
• Proof of insurance
• Valid CPR/First Aide Certification
• Act 168
• Mandated Reporter Training
• TB Test from within three months)

Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, community and social instruction to support the educational programming and physical needs of special education students
• Plans curriculum, prepares lessons and other instructional materials according to meet the needs of the students
• All instruction should be aligned with the state standards
• Overseeing the safety of students and staff throughout the day
• Adapting and modifying instructional materials
• Maintaining technology for students and classroom
• Collecting data daily/weekly on all Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and reporting out in accordance with the school districts reporting schedule
• Developing, writing and implementing IEP’s
• Utilizing evidence based instructional materials and assessment
• Follow school-wide positive behavior support plan and individualized behavior plans
