We are currently seeking a certified Math Teacher for a full-time position teaching 7th-12th grade students in the Pleasant Plain, OH area. This position will start in August and continue through the 2024-2025 school year. Eligible candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, a math certification, up-to-date clearances, an EIN Number, and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to student learning
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and translates lesson plans into learning experiences so as to best utilize the available time for instruction
• Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, and modifies instructional methods to fit individual student’s needs, including students with special needs; conducts individual and small group instruction as needed
• Encourages parental involvement in students’ education and ensures effective communication with students and parents
• Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievement and attendance
• Consult with other school staff as necessary to complete the functions of the position
• Model positive character virtues and habits
• Assist students in developing positive moral and performance character attributes
• Perform other duties as assigned
