» Humanus | Health and Fitness Company

Issue: This national health and fitness company had recently been created out as a spin-off from a larger, more diverse group. It had inherited people and HR processes that were suited to the larger group, rather than a youthful, energetic, focused and rapidly growing health and fitness company.

Solution: Humanus worked with the senior management team and the Human Resources team to:

• find out what the 2,000 or so staff wanted in terms of their employment with the company; through focus groups held in clubs throughout the country, this revealed many issues in terms of culture, recognition, performance management and rewards
• communicate these findings to the top management team, convince them of the validity of the findings and then to develop a recognition and rewards strategy to address many of the issues raised
• support the management team in developing the processes needed to communicate these changes.
